Photogenic Fed Ex

AHHHH!!!! Jumping up and down!! While we were at church this morning (Sunday), Fed Ex called and left a message on our answering machine that the Fed Ex is coming TOMORROW (Monday) with our papers from Ethiopia!!!! THANK GOD!! Oh, that poor Fed Ex man better brace himself for a screaming welcome!! YESSSSS!!!!! Keep praying for next steps!

Then, about a half hour later the door bell rings! I sent Todd to get the door and overhear him saying, "Just wait one minute, this is a very important delivery for us." WHAT??? There was a gray Toyota outside.... But I go around to the door and IT'S THE FED EX MAN!!! The package from Ethiopia arrived and a day early!!!! Since it is a busy Christmas time of the year for deliveries this Fed Ex unit had a rental truck to get moving on a Sunday to make deliveries! We had him pose for a picture and told him how thrilled we were! He was happy to be a Fed Ex man bringing good news!

SO VERY EXCITED!!

Thanks to God for hearing our prayers and bringing this Christmas miracle to our door!! Thank you for your prayers!! Please continue to be in prayer as now our papers will be mailed off and reviewed by the US Immigration offices here in the USA. There are several more steps to go, but this is a huge relief to have come this far!!

There it is!! The white envelope of our Christmas miracle has arrived!!!

Airplane Tray Table Cover for Travel!

In my part of the world, the popular sport of choice for this season is sewing. Sewing? Yes, well, it's a winter sport for me with its challenges, obstacles, and skills to be improved upon! Details, Details, and What Can We Do?

It's a girl! Thank you for the excitement and prayers of joy for us as we announced our next adoption! We have kept our finger on the pulse in the adoption world since bringing home our son, and all I can contribute finding out about this adoption is by the direction of God the Father. He "places the lonely in families!" - Psalm 68:6 I know that everyone is anxious to know more details, trust me, I know it's part of the excitement to hear the scoop! What I can say is that she is 7 years old and very petite. She has brown eyes, brown curly hair, and beautiful brown skin. Her smile is contagious and her eyes show that she is spunky inside of that tiny frame. She loves to laugh and eat pie! What I can't say is all of her story.
